Transitions and change are a continuous part of our lives. Some changes bring joy and happiness, such as a marriage or birth of a child, others can bring sadness and confusion such as in the death of a loved one or ending of a relationship. Other changes can be in response to past traumatic events or childhood experiences which now begin to affect us. At Aspen Counselling Services, we recognise the need for support and guidance through some of these difficult times. Our aim is to provide quality Counselling and Psychotherapy for Individuals and families as well as Couples and Relationship Counselling, in a safe and confidential space, with the view to promoting personal development and ultimately better quality of life.
At Aspen Counselling Services we believe that in regards to Counselling and Psychotherapy quality is essential and foremost. All of our therapists are fully trained and qualified and belong to a recognised professional body, such as the I.A.C.P or I.A.H.I.P. We also on occasion provide placements for trainee counsellors who provide low-cost counselling for those clients preferring to see a trainee. We realise that once you have made the decision to come for counselling or psychotherapy the choice of which counsellor can be challenging. It is important to find the right therapist and approach for you. We would be happy to explain further any of our approaches and what they mean and try to find the best match as far as choosing a Therapist and your needs.
The therapists at Aspen Counselling Service come from a variety of recognised high quality training programs and backgrounds. At Aspen Counselling we offer a variety of therapeutic approaches such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Biodynamic Psychotherapy, Rogerian, Gestalt, Relationship/Couples Counselling, child/adolescent counselling as well as Biodynamic massage and more. Our Therapists offer appointments in our centres in Lucan Co. Dublin and Mullingar Co. Westmeath. Furthermore, at Aspen Counselling Services we offer a range of appointment times, including morning, afternoon, evening and weekends, to suit your needs.
At Aspen Counselling Services we have highly qualified therapists who work with Couples and Relationship Counselling, which may include marriage breakdown and mediation. Aspen Counselling Services in both Lucan Co. Dublin, Ireland and Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Ireland also provide highly qualified therapists with extensive experience working with childhood abuse and neglect, including but not limited to sexual abuse. Our Therapists also have expertise in working with eating disorders, depression, self-esteem, addiction recovery issues and more.
Aspen Counselling Services has been providing counselling and psychotherapy in Lucan, Co. Dublin, Ireland since 2001 and we have now opened a new centre in Mullingar Co. Westmeath. We have become a counselling service that the community knows and trusts.
